04 — questions

About me, answered

Who is Oybek Daniyarov?

I'm a UAE-based senior full-stack engineer and fractional CTO who's been coding since 2006. Across two decades in agencies, startups and scale-ups I scope, quote, architect, lead teams and ship — most recently as CTO at Karve Digital in Dubai.

How many years of experience do you have?

Around twenty years — I've been building for the web since 2006, from hand-coded PHP and jQuery through every framework cycle since. That decade of early work is where the instincts come from: I know how projects fail and how to keep yours from doing the same.

Where are you based?

I'm based in Dubai, UAE. Most of my recent work has been with Dubai teams — Karve Digital, alfii, ChatFood and House of Comms — and I'm comfortable working with stakeholders across time zones.

What companies have you worked with?

I'm currently CTO at Karve Digital, and previously led work at alfii, ChatFood (acquired by Deliverect) and House of Comms — plus running my own studio. Along the way I've delivered for clients like Seera Group, Marhaba and the Sharjah E-government.

How quickly do you pick up an unfamiliar stack?

Fast — a new stack is never a blocker for me. When a client project needed a certified Sitecore developer, I learned the platform and C# over a weekend, passed the certification exam and delivered. Two decades across frameworks means I ramp up quickly on whatever your project needs.

Enough about me.
